1.Implement necessary insulation measures (e.g., wrapping) for outdoor water-related facilities including pipelines, instruments, valves, and pumps. 

2.When equipment is idle and ambient temperature is around 0°C, ensure all water is drained and verify that pumps, valves, and pipes are completely empty. 

3.For frozen UPVC pipes, valves, or pumps, apply a warm towel to the pipes followed by hot water flushing to thaw them. Never use fire or boiling water to avoid cracking.
