Winter maintenance of air flotation equipment
1.Enhance operators 'accountability by conducting regular equipment inspections and promptly addressing any anomalies;
2.Maintain detailed operational logs, implement proper shift handover procedures, and perform daily equipment cleaning;
3.Install anti-freeze protective panels around air flotation equipment when necessary to prevent freezing;
4.Regularly monitor pH levels of incoming water and chemical dosages, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal equipment performance;
5.Verify that the equipment's network voltage meets specified requirements;
6.Inspect lubrication systems in rotating components (e.g., compressors, reducers) for proper functioning;
7.For equipment with sludge discharge hoppers, perform timely sludge removal based on actual operating conditions or at least once daily;
8.Check chains, scraper plates, and fasteners for looseness or abnormal wear, conducting immediate maintenance when required;
9.Empty dissolved air pumps of accumulated water during extended downtime, with special attention to anti-freezing measures in winter.
Important Notice
1. When temperatures drop below 0°C, if the air flotation equipment remains unused for an extended period, drain all water from the system and flush out the pipes to prevent freezing. If necessary, temporarily switch the pump to internal circulation mode without water intake. Retaining a portion of water in the tank can also provide temporary frost protection.
2. We must implement comprehensive anti-freezing measures for the entire equipment, as the absence of such measures may cause frost damage to the thickened internal anti-corrosion coating and external paint film.
3. If the air flotation equipment is already frozen, do not force it to start. Ensure the entire unit is fully thawed before operation, and check for any leaks during startup.
4. Insulate and wrap water pipes, instruments, valves, pumps, and other outdoor water facilities (using materials like cotton linen fabric or plastic foam).
5. When temperatures drop below freezing, regularly inspect the equipment's track surfaces and transmission contact surfaces for ice buildup. If ice is found, promptly remove it to prevent equipment damage caused by accidental jamming or slipping.
Common Troubleshooting
1. High pressure with no pressure differential? Answer: This may be caused by a clogged pressure relief valve. We recommend cleaning the valve.
2. Pressure is too low? Answer: There are two possible causes. First, the release valve's corrosion may enlarge the orifice, causing excessive pressure release. In this case, replace the valve. Second, the pump might be clogged, failing to meet the required flow rate and head. In this case, clean the pump.
3. Why doesn't the air compressor stop automatically? Answer: This issue is caused by the float ball and intake pipe. We recommend cleaning them.
